Россиянин Роман Плахов родился в Калужской области, окончил университет имени Пирогова и несколько лет работал участковым педиатром в московской поликлинике. В 2024 году ему предложили должность в частной клинике в ОАЭ, и он согласился. В рамках цикла материалов "Газеты.Ru" о живущих за границей россиянах Роман рассказал о врачебной практике в Дубае, ценах на жилье и продукты, тяжелом климате и отношении местных к русскоязычным, а также объяснил, почему, несмотря на профессиональные перспективы, скучает по дому и планирует вернуться.

Niilo, 20: “Some grey jeans, white t-shirt, ballerinas, big backpack and a furry cap felt good in the morning. If I have to try to find the words to describe what inspires my style, maybe playfulness, mix of masculinity and femininity, expressing yourself and harmony.”

Colors and hues are important to me and the beauty of their combinations inspires me. Patterns and prints too.”
