”I’m wearing vintage leather boots, my favorite dress with beautiful lace details, cross earrings from Vinted I wear almost daily, choker necklace from a local second hand store, and most importantly a white rosary necklace from the Vatican. I am inspired by a lot of things, including classic ghost stories, I wear a lot of white and vintage night dresses, something that a ghost would wear, at least in my imagination. I love to visit old churches and graveyards, and include a lot of religious symbols in my style. I am passionate about second hand fashion and giving a new life to old clothes.”

“I’m wearing a pink tank top with a Nyan cat I painted. And I’m wearing jorts that my mum hated, but I love them. I’m an art student so I made almost all of the button pins and accessories myself, and also painted my shoes. My style is kidcore and I express my interests with color and art. I don’t like the idea that everyone should follow the same trends. I think diversity and variety are valuable.”

“Most of the clothes and accessories are thrifted, with the exception of two armcuffs, one is from Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, and the other is self made from wire. My clogs are also new, they became an important part of this fit due to a recent foot injury - I wouldn’t have it any other way. We are of course rocking a few Pride pins and a genderfluid flag as well. When seasons change so does my style, but my main goal stays the same: be as funky as you can.”

“In this pic I have on my very own leather punk vest. I made most of the patches on it by cutting up my dad’s old shirt. Then I have on a bra that I sewed some spikes on to and shorts that I cut from old jeans and painted some UK flags on the back pockets. I also have on a thrifted dog collar and some chain from the hardware store. My boots are some pretty broken and dirty faux leather platforms. Originally I was inspired by the pretty non-existent punk scene of where I come from, but now days I only take inspiration of myself.”

“My shoes are Doc Martens boots I bought second hand a few years ago from a classmate. All other items I’m wearing I have made myself from recycled materials: pants are made from an old curtain I dyed purple, for the vest I bought a piece of greed corduroy from Uff, the lining is made from an old curtain as well and the white shirt is made out of an old bedsheet. The scarf is a square I cut out from a bedsheet I had dyed green for another project. The bead lizard is made by my best friend, who also inspires me a lot! Otherwise I find inspiration for my clothes in the textures and colors found in nature, films, beautiful or interesting-looking items and people around me.”

“This time I was styled by my talented boyfriend, who has greatly helped me find my style. My dress is thrifted, and so was my necklace originally, before being gifted to my boyfriend by their aunt. My bag was a present crocheted by my little sister, to which I later sewed a lining. I’ve bought the charms on my bag from conventions’ artist alleys around Finland. My shoes were from Bellissima, a women’s shoe shop specialising in having wide ranges of shoe sizes, which has been a lifesaver. My style is largely defined by what clothes feel good, both feeling good to the touch and making me feel good to be wearing. I still want to improve in accessorising and layering my looks.”

“My sweater and boots were bought from a friend. Belt buckle, pants, necklace and bag are from a thrift store but the belt itself I sewed from scrap denim. My girlfriend got me the sunglasses, after she somehow broke both of the hinges from my last pair. I think my style is just inspired by what I see on my friends, people on the streets ,or on the internet. I try to wear what looks and feels good to me.”
